We all know that Tinder is the largest dating app in the world to meet singles, although apps like Badoo or Meetme also stand out. But is there any platform for those people who are believers?

Salt is a Christian dating app that also allows singles to meet with other users to share their faith. The application was developed by Salt Group Ltda, a company founded by Erti-Chris Eelma and Paul Rider, who claim that there are 10,000 registered Christians.

This is how the app works

To use the app, users will need to register via email, Google or Facebook; they will answer a series of questions about their faith and their relationship with God; and will provide information about their marital status, physical traits and habits.

The app is available on Android and iOS

‘Click To Pray’, the new prayer application created by the Vatican
As singles describe their faith, Salt will go to great lengths to find the best matches. Some of the questions that those interested have to answer are the following: “you will often find me…”, “we will click if…”, “I cannot live without…”, “my heart longs for…”, or “I connect with God… ”.

Its operation is very similar to Tinder. The user will see profiles of other people and decide if they want to match. In the case of matching with another single, a conversation can be started.

The application allows you to go back between profiles, in addition, you can match with users who are more than 500 kilometers away.

Salt offers the Premium option to provide additional features such as knowing which profiles have ‘liked’ the user’s profile, seeing more profiles per day, sending up to ten daily personals, being more visible, and checking the list of ignored profiles.
